Christmas Eve ServiceThis service is always a highlight during Christmas time. It is a time to focus of the birth of Jesus. We often have a mixture of singing, Scripture reading and a message. Sometimes, the children will perform a Christmas drama, depicting the story of Jesus' birth. Join us Dec 24 at 6pm!

Bell ChoirOccasionally, the children of SMC will play the bells during the worship service. Bell choir practices are on Sundays at 9:30am in the Youth Wing.
Kids PraiseOccasionally, the children of SMC will sing a special song during the worship service. Kids Praise practices are on Sundays at 9:30am in the Youth Wing.

Young Adult choir There is a small group of young adults who enjoy singing & work on learning music to share during the worship service. See 2 of the songs they learned & sang at our camp service in August.

Special MusicDuring the worship service, there is occasionally a person or group who bless the congregation with a special music selection. Special ConcertsOccasionally, SMC will have special concerts during the worship service or on alternative evenings. Some groups who have put on a concert are: Sonnenberg Station, Jeff Polen, Carrollton, Honeytown, Polen Band, ONU Concert Choir, Emily Furtig, and Central Christian Concert Choir and Varsity Singers.
Maundy Thursday Meal & ServiceThis service is always a highlight during Easter and is held at 6pm on the Thursday before Easter. This service has a meal, singing, Scripture reading, a message, prayer and foot washing. It is a reflective time remembering the last supper Jesus had
with his disciples. |
